After the Liberation, it was managed by the government and the name changed to "Ninth Middle School Of Chongqing". In 1982, it became a key secondary school of Sichuan Province. In 1984, the name was changed back to "Chongqing Qinghua Middle School". At the same time, Deng Yingchao inscribed the name of the school.
